About Canada Calculators
Canada Calculators covers take-home pay, federal and provincial Income Tax, CPP and EI payroll deductions, and other calculations specific to Canadian employment and tax law — built specifically around CRA rules rather than a generic international formula.
Built on current CRA figures
Federal Income Tax brackets, the Basic Personal Amount, CPP contribution rates and earnings thresholds (including the CPP2 additional tier), and EI premium rates are sourced from current CRA and Canada.ca guidance and updated as new tax years are announced. Provincial coverage starts with a subset of major provinces and expands over time — each calculator states clearly which provinces it covers. Quebec's separate QPP, QPIP, and provincial tax system is not yet covered, and is called out explicitly rather than approximated.
Estimates, not tax advice
Every calculator in this category is for informational and educational purposes only and is not tax, legal, or financial advice. Payroll deductions, provincial surtaxes, and individual tax situations vary — confirm specifics with a qualified tax professional, your employer's payroll team, or the CRA directly.
